We have substantial experience of teaching and course development design at international educational institutions in a range of cultural contexts including China, Japan, Vietnam, Turkey, the Arab nations, and across Europe. Our guiding philosophy is to match, as far as possible, our consultants to the specific cross-cultural needs of client organisations.
Roy Edwards
Founder
Roy Edwards has over 40 years of experience in the design, delivery, and management of academic programmes including modules in the MBA, cross-cultural communication skills, and EAP. Moreover, he has also worked at a number of international universities in the UK, his home nation, in several European nations, and in Turkey, Vietnam, China, and Japan. Across this period, he also worked as a management consultant for several major companies. He has published articles in several journals focusing on his specialism in cross-cultural teaching and learning methods.
Yumiko Yokoyama
Yumiko Yokoyama has worked with Roy on the design of cross-cultural learning materials for over 20 years. In addition to material design, she is also responsible for quality control, administration, and financial issues. After completing her degree in Business in Japan, she has studied on postgraduate courses in the UK and Turkey. In China, Yumiko studied Chinese language. Finally, she has publications in the area of business and economics.
